As a trainee counsellor, my aim is to provide a safe and supportive space for women to explore their personal experiences, emotional challenges, and mental health struggles. I support clients in navigating difficult periods in their lives, helping them develop greater self-awareness, resilience, and a healthier mindset to improve their overall quality of life. Through the counselling process, I hope clients feel empowered, regain hope for their future, and recognise their own strengths through self-care, reflection, and personal growth. Ultimately, counselling provides an opportunity to enhance one's psychological, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
I work integratively, drawing from person-centred, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioural (CBT) frameworks, adapting my approach to meet each client's unique needs and circumstances. I am culturally sensitive and spiritually attuned, and I believe in a holistic approach that honours each individual's background, values, and life experiences. The therapeutic relationship is built on empathy, honesty, trust, and non-judgement. Sessions are centred around the client, ensuring they feel seen, heard, and accepted — whether they need a compassionate space to share their thoughts and feelings or would like support in working towards specific goals. Together, we can explore challenges, develop insight, and work towards meaningful change and growth.
