SEEKING HELP

“Sometimes we don’t realise the weight of what we are carrying until we feel the weight of its release”

I am a trainee counsellor and a member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).

My journey into counselling started off in education as a qualified Teacher when I realised that there was a real need for Mental Health support within our Ummah.

My intention and passion has always been to support and elevate those around me, with the skills I have developed over time. I have found that being open, non-judgemental and willing to listen can make such a difference, whether that is with clients, friends or family members.

My approach is Person-Centred, placing the client as the priority in the sessions, with compassion and empathy. I am also training to integrate CBT and TA within my practice, which will allow me to better understand my client’s point of view and provide holistic support to achieve their goals.
