SEEKING HELP

‘The human psyche, like human bones, is strongly inclined towards self-healing’

At some point in our lives, we all feel overwhelmed, stuck or need support. I am a Trainee Counsellor and a member of British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).

After many years in the academic, public sector and corporate field I decided to retrain and become a counsellor. Using my existing skills, expertise and building upon them to help support those who are in need.

I am an intuitive counsellor who is passionate about helping to bring positive change to people’s lives. My approach is to offer a safe, compassionate, confidential, non-judgemental supportive space in which the client will be heard, seen and supported through their journey of self-awareness and change.

I am trained as an integrative counsellor; and the benefit of this approach means that I can bring together different elements, specifically: person-centred, psychodynamic and CBT therapies, rather than a stand-alone approach.

My areas of interest are anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, perimenopause, menopausal issues, long term health conditions and bereavement.
